This position largely focuses on providing clerical and administrative support to the Specialty Casualty (Financial Lines) Underwriting team.
Key respnsibilities include:
- Managing telephone enquiries
- Ensuring all internal and external correspondence is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Creating and maintaining underwriting submission and policy files
- Updating and maintaining underwriting database
- Preparation of policy wordings and endorsements
- General filing - including archiving as required
Successful candidates for this role should possess:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
- At least 1-2 years business experience - insurance industry experience preferred
- Excellent working knowledge of PC based systems and applications such as Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Experience working with database systems for managing contacts, schedules and calendars
- An ability to prioritise workflow and to work independently as required
